Synopsis- A man goes on a quest to take his book somewhere safe, while trying to protect it from people who want to use it for other reasons.
Went to see it today, and again- the trailer was misleading. The action was extremely top notched, and the acting was overall great.
It starts off letting you know of the over-styled “300” feel from the very first scene, it may turn some people off but I like the look of it. Denzel I thought was a great casting choice and Gary Oldman stole the show. Unfortunately the girl Mila Kunis, who i hate… was in the movie. Im pretty sure she ruined the good parts of this movie for me.
I dont want to sound like a dick, but the last couple of movies ive seen lately have been ruined by irrelevant female characters. Writters need to start giving women real fucking roles, or just dont show them. Maybe they just put women as characters for the fuck of it.
I dont want to spoil too much of the movie so I wont get too into it, but it was really great… the last scene could have ended in a fantastic finale but the girl ruined. Some of the good or bad things I cant talk about without spoilers, so ill leave it to you, the readers… to bring it up.
