The search which looked as if would go on forever is now officially over.
Chris Evans said yes to the offer Marvel studios sent him to play Captain America.
Every role i have seen this guy do has been the role of a goofball douche. But at the same time cool guy.
None of the characteristics that make up Captain America.
He does not have the “intimidation” factor Cap has.
Is there a side of him that we havent seen, in which he is the intimidating leader, and will we see this in the movie? Maybe, let’s hope so.
Well, he tried out for the role, so I’m hoping someone saw what he brought to the table and liked it.
I’m not for this or against it.
I’m still confused because of the Human Torch deal, but the fact that they’re rebooting the F4 relieves me.
I also do not see him as the Optimus Prime/Captain America leader type. Besides his face isnt exactly that much intimidating whatsoever.
We will have to wait.
Your thoughts?
I’ve seen Street Kings. He is great at doing serious acting. He was pretty damn good in Cellular as well.
When hes serious, he looks nervous/scared
Hes never the intimidating focused leader.
I cant explain it but Cap has something Evans doesnt
James
Hmm after reading this, now you mention it Optimus prime and Capt do kinda look a like, they both wear or have blue suits/paint with red and white parts. they both have a shield. Oh and they both kick ass.
What?
Wow, no. Im not talking about looks, im talking about presence. Bumblebee, Starscream, Spiderman, Ice-man…. none of these have presence. None of them are leaders and none of them are intimidating.
Cap is. So is Optimus.
Chris Evans is not.
