With Father’s Day upon us, we remember why we love the person we like to call “Daddy.” And in that, I wanted to ask all of you, which movie dad is your favorite?
My personal favorite is Atticus Finch (above) from To Kill A Mockingbird. The character in both the book and the movie is a lawyer trying to defend a black man, and this being set in the 30’s doesn’t necessarily help either. So many people go around telling his children that Atticus is a bad man and a “nigger-lover.” When Scout (above) talks to Atticus about subjects such as racism, rape, several subjects that she doesn’t understand and it worries her. But when Atticus talks to her, tells her not to worry or listen about people, she feels better in the end.
Now it’s your turn: What’s your favorite movie dad?
